| Requirements and Responsibilities For Mortgage Operations Associate Director |
| Manages the mortgage operations function to ensure efficient processing, servicing, and administration of residential mortgage loans and achieve lending objectives. Oversees operational teams responsible for loan processing, underwriting, closing support, servicing activities, and post-closing documentation to ensure alignment. Develops operational policies, procedures, and performance standards to improve service delivery, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Monitors workflow, productivity, and service-level metrics to ensure operational goals are achieved. Implements process improvements and training programs to enhance operational efficiency and maintain compliance with industry regulations and investor guidelines. Develops and maintains relationships with title companies, real estate agents, and various outside stakeholders to drive new business and expedite or troubleshoot issues. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
