| Examines and treats disorders and diseases of the cardiovascular system. Diagnoses patients with the aid of diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings. Uses non-invasive procedures to help with diagnosis and treatment. Recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or condition. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Requires a MD. Requires State License to Practice. Typically reports to a medical director.
